About Us
Founded in 1880, the club is located at Splash Point, Marine Parade, Worthing, BN11 3PN, just 5 minutes east of the Pier in Central Worthing.
Alternatively you can search on these coordinates in maps.google and they will take you straight to the club 50.810631, -0.364210
We train on most nights of the week and week-ends with Club nights on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We usually have food after training on Thursday nights. See the Senior and Junior Sections page for more information about training.
As a coastal rowing club, we cater for all rowers, experienced or completely new to the sport. Although we predominately race on the sea, we also own river boats and race on the river during the winter . We are members of the Coast ARA (CARA), the Hants & Dorset ARA (H&DARA) as well as the national governing body who are now called British Rowing.
Through the year we race at regattas along the south coast from Herne Bay in the east to to Swanage in the west, as well as in-land on the river. The last regatta of the season is usually the South Coast Championships where all the clubs from the CARA, H&DARA and the West of England ARA meet.
